Will the audience relate?
Conferences are always looking for something fresh and attendees often tell me, "I don't know where they found you, but I'm glad they did. You're not the typical industry insider that we hear year after year."
My personal story quickly earns the respect of each audience and inspires them to take positive actions. Because I talk to several attendees in advance (selected by you), I empathize with each audience and am able to be spot-on relevant. Finally, as a graduate of an education system, a consumer of products, and user of services, I also bring the customer perspective which is arguably the most important one to hear.
"Scrum/Agile" conferences like ours are always looking for keynote speakers who can be different from those that the community knows and meets on a daily basis. Ravi's keynote was really thought-provoking and different, and what many conferences are looking for. The attendees felt that his keynote was the highlight of the conference and gave him the highest possible rating in the post-conference survey. (Sep 2017)
